What Makes Us Special

Children: Our office sees infants and children for all the common conditions of ingrown nails, warts, orthotics and athletic injuries. We also handle bigger problems like toe walking and pigeon toes. We are proud to have introduced to the Conejo Valley a growth plate stapling procedure for juvenile bunions and minimally traumatic procedures for flat feet. All of the doctors have children and are sensitive to the emotional trauma sometimes involved in visiting the doctor.

Adults: We see adults of all ages for nail problems, metatarsalgia, neuromas, heel pain and Achilles tendonitis. The doctors in the office have performed over 5000 bunion surgeries and almost as many hammertoes.

Ultrasound: We are one of the only offices to have in-office ultrasound to visualize neuromas, soft tissue lesions and the plantar fascia that is inflamed in heel pain. The image we get can help us in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions.

Circulation Tests: We offer computerized Doppler analysis of blood flow to determine if a surgery or would will heal.

Wound Care: Our office was one of the first in the Conejo Valley to offer synthetic dressings, growth factor therapy and the Wound-Vac to treat foot and ankle wounds. We involve other specialists in wound care creating a "virtual" wound care center.

Ingrown Nails: We can permanently correct an ingrown nail with just one visit using only local anesthesia.

Heel Pain: In the rare cases that surgery is required we offer office-based ESWT/Shockwave Therapy and micro incision plantar fasciotomy and surgery center-based endoscopic fasciotomy.

Neuromas: We were one of the first offices to offer non-surgical nerve deactivation injections to lessen or climinate neuroma pain.

Diabetes: From regular care to dramatic foot-sparing surgery we offer all stages of diabetic foot care. We are approved by Medicare to provide fashionable diabetic shoes to patents who qualify. Our Thousand Oaks office has nearly 100 styles to choose from.
